Healing through Yoga (In Person)

Join us for an in-person session of our trauma informed yoga practice, centered around promoting healing and wellness. The class is open to students, faculty, staff and community members. All levels of practice welcome.
Go with that: An EMDR Group

For the EMDR curious or committed. “Go with that” uses the EMDR group protocols to address symptoms and triggers related to past trauma. Meetings are held in a supportive group setting with options for virtual or in person participation.
1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 12PM via Zoom.
Drop-in support group focused on building community and fostering connections among fellow survivors. Open to survivors who are students, faculty/staff, or community members.

Tea & Talk is an open support group to survivors and co-survivors who identify as immigrants, international students, or second generation immigrants.
Ear Acupuncture
1-2:30pm
Fridays 1/26, 2/16, 3/22, 4/19
Ear acupuncture involves the gentle placement of up to five small, sterilized disposable needles into specific sites on each ear. The recipients sit quietly in a group setting for 30-45 minutes allowing the treatment to take effect. Benefits of Ear Acupuncture include: reduce cravings for alcohol and drugs, minimize withdrawal symptoms, increase calmness, better sleep, and relief from stress and emotional trauma.
Open to survivors who are students or faculty/staff.
These groups and workshops have begun and are no longer accepting new participants. If interested in attending something similar in the future, please reach out to the contact person associated with each group/workshop.
Wednesdays 3-4:30pm
Starting January 24th, this series of art workshops offers a space for survivors for healing and self-expression through art. Each week will feature a guided art activity and supplies. No prior training or art experience needed. Open to MSU student survivors.
Center for Survivors' Dance Group
Healing can come in many different forms, including movement! Healing can come in many different forms, including movement. Join our dance group to learn a dance with an opportunity to perform live & in-person! No dance experience is required.
Rehearsals will be every Friday starting September 29th 4-5pm.
